Finding 1: Capacity Claims Are Often Lies
The gap between claimed and actual capacity is alarming:

The old saying “you get what you pay for” applies perfectly to power banks. Quality lithium cells cost money. A $12 “20000mAh” power bank either uses low-grade cells, lies about capacity, or both.
For $35-40, you can get a power bank that will last years and safely charge your devices. For $12-15, you’re rolling the dice with your phone’s battery—and potentially your safety.
